We are a non-denominational Christian church built on the foundation of loving God, loving each other, and living on mission. We believe that these values lived out will transform the High Country. We believe that to be able to fully thrive as a Christian in today’s world, community is not an option but a necessity, and that is what you will find at Antioch Boone: a community of believers, intentionally walking through the journey of life together.
Scott and Becky Lycan moved into North Carolina’s High Country in 2007, with a history of African missions, church planting and pastoring, cross-cultural education, and business management. In early 2018 they were asked to provide senior leadership in launching a new church associated with the Antioch International Movement of Churches. Antioch Community Church Boone was launched in the Fall of 2018; accountable to, and in special relationship with Antioch Community Church of Raleigh.
In growing a healthy spiritual life – an integrated and vital life - our metric is, “If you were the last Christian in the High Country, would you be able to start a disciple-making movement?” and “Are you spending time with Jesus?”
